Aguamiel distillers, limited production, elaborated from 100% natural aguamiel extracted from maguey.

The aguamiel is extracted from the maguey plant, patiently and carefully cultivated for 12 years, in an ancestral way.

If the Don Juan Blanco product is aged in fine white oak casks for three months, gaining mildness and a soft aroma, then it is Don Juan Reposado.

If the Don Juan Blanco product is subjuctred to a MADURATION PROCESS IN FINAS BARRICAS DE RTOBLE BLANCO for a year lapse, gaining great mildness and a strong aroma, then it is Don Juan Añejo.

Don Juan Blanco

It is a beverage of well defined taste and strong character.

Don Juan Reposado  

Reposado means ‘rested'. It is Beverage of well defined taste and strong character, which has been provided with great mildness and an intense aroma.

 

Don Juan Añejo

‘Añejo' means ‘aged', because this product has aged for at least 12 months in fine white oak carcasses. It is a beverage of well defined taste and strong character, which has been provided with mildness and delicate aroma.

 

   

PROCESO

The raw material used on the distilled products elaboration is the aguamiel, obtained from maguey. The maguey plant takes from 9 to 12 years to produce aguamiel, but the plant treatment only takes 3 to 4 months.

 
   

In order to obtain a fresh and top quality product, aguamiel is recollected twice a day, morning and afternoon, leaving a 6 to 9 hour lapse in between two recollections. These recollections are done considering the traditional methods, but applying the hygienic controlled procedures. This way the fusion of fusion of leading-edge technology and ancestral methods is achieved.

Our products are 100% natural, free from artificial colors, antioxidants, conservatives and any type of additives.

 
      
   
INULINA  
   

 

Inulina is a ‘polifructano' (from Spanish, literally, multiple fruits) is the sugar that some agaves produce as energy storage, basically this material is found in stems and roots. Because inulina is a dietetic fiber, with low calorie contents and a bifidus promoter, it is considered a prebiotic. Due to its properties it has gained great importance inside the food industry, particularly on those referred to functional properties.

The prebiotics, such as bifidus bacteria and lactobacillus are microorganisms that are used as food supplement, which are added to the human diet for they have benefic effects that increase the balance in the intestinal biota. The prebiotic is a HIDRATO DE CARBONO source, not digestible by humans and help the prebiotic proliferation.

Besides another inulina property is to form gels of excellent characteristics, such as retention of water, low melting point, and similar fat characteristics. Inulina is a rheological modification and can be used to optimize food texture. It also increases emulsion stability, dispersions and mousses, providing them better body and volume.
